Casting Flux

LTM has been the sole South African manufacturer of continuous casting- and ingot casting mould fluxes for the last 15 years. After acquiring Thermochem in 2004, LTM re-commissioned the spray drying facilities to expand powder production from powder and granulated form to also include spray dried granules, which can easily be conveyed by modern pneumatic feeding systems.

The commissioning of a new spray tower in 2013 enabled LTM to increase our annual capacity to 2000 tons usable product. A continual close working relationship with Nippon Thermochemical ensures that LTM stays abreast of the latest developments in this area.
